The Google Local SEO 3-Pack is what you see when you do a google search for local stuff, like real estate agents, chiropractors, doctors, roofing contractors, dentists; anything that is local by nature. What comes up when you do this search on your desktop and mobile, and more so with mobile, are 3 choices of those specific businesses. Google only offers 3 choices. Google does offer a "more places" link at the bottom of those three, but that is rarely clicked by people. Think about the last time you clicked "more places".

The first step is to completely fill out your Google My Business listing page including your hours, initial photos which have to be geo-tagged, researching your competitors, strategy in place for your particular niche, category research and implementation, check reviews, initial plan if there are any low quality or bad reviews, initial videos, verifying the account, helping you get your snail mail verification postcard, and more... This is the step that most businesses fill out incorrectly and leave theirs unfinished, and this is where 98% of all local businesses stop. Big mistake.

Step 2: Start Citation and NAP Audit
At the same time your GMB page is getting optimized, filled in, checked and double checked... your NAP ( name, address, phone number) must be confirmed, then checked all over the internet wherever you may have or someone else may have placed your NAP in any form. Correct NAP is the big key to getting your brand acknowledged by Google. If your NAP is wrong or inconsistent across the web- you will not make it to the 3-pack. We run an ongoing spreadsheet to keep track of all your citations.

Step 3: Complete Your Website Connections To Maps- along with citations and other important items
The next step is embed your google map on to your home page, about page, and contact us page, on your website. We then have an ongoing project creating and adding content. We add all your keywords into this content over time, sprinkle here and a sprinkle there... to make sure Google bots keep crawling your content. We can add your photos and services. Step 4: Build Citations and Backlinks
